I've been looking at The Vegan Kind box and wondering if it's worth it? I've been Vegan since the beginning of February food wise and am really enjoying it. As house hold cleaners, make up, clothes, etc are used up I'm only replacing with vegan. But I'm struggling to find a variety of products. I'm enjoying most of Superdrug's B range but their mascara is dreadful - any recommendations that is 100% vegan and cruelty free would be greatly appreciated!
Also, to all of you who sell products - are these just full items that you have in your stash that you've never opened or are some of them part used?!
I have had quite a few UUs recently but can't think for the life of me right now what they are, so I'll have a little think and post it up here. They would all be WNBA for me though. My debt free diary

Rdone, have a look at this website http://www.veganbeautyreview.com/2014/01/top-8-vegan-mascaras.html
And this one gets good reviews: Green People Organic Cosmetics Volumising Mascara - Brown/Black
On Ebay you can sell unused items. Some products such as perfume is okay to sell used though. Basically, if anything comes into contact with human skin, it is not allowed.
Because of this, I cannot sell many of my eyeshadows despite them being used only once and very gently.ally.0 -
Ahhhhh thank you asajj, that website will probably become my bible from now on!
That makes sense I suppose but as you say it's super annoying for all of those eye shadow's that are sitting on my bureau! I've been to a few festivals this year so was using as many of the bright colours as possible! Still doesn't look like I've even made a dent in the pallete though. I'll have to have a look to see if there's anything I can sell then, would be nice to get rid of products AND get some money in the process! My debt free diary

Although I haven't been successful myself, many people also managed to sell/swap items on their local Facebook groups. I'd also check it as Ebay can be expensive to sell. To give you an example, I sold mascaras, lipglosses, eyeshadows and perfumes without a problem. I did sell most of those free gift offer stuff from likes of Rimmel as colors are rarely my taste. You can also bundle couple of items - like a mascara and eyeshadow etc.ally.0

Welcome to the thread. QVC used to be my downfall as well especially as everything that they sell is "phenomenal value". I think it's the thrill of receiving parcels through the door that attributes to the shop as well but at the end of the day we can all only shower and apply make up so much.
I also think the thing with shower gels is that they are relatively inexpensive to buy as compared to skincare and make up so it's easy to slip a couple into the supermarket trolley or buy from QVC as again they will con you into thinking that you need a gift set of 20 bottles or those gallon supersizes that they sell.
Yes it is so easy to shop too much on QVC. I've just stopped watching it and I'm hoping to keep it up! But yes you can only use so much.0 -

I get both the normal box and quarterly beauty box and I love them! The normal one has lots of yummy treats in and the beauty one has been brill every time so far! This months normal one had the most amazing cookie mix in! We made it and scoffed the lot during last weeks bake off lol.
The superdrug b mascara was in this months beauty one but I've not tried it yet. All the natural ones I've found so far don't really compare with the normal ones. The only ones I've found acceptable were the bare minerals flawless definition and the origins one but I'm not sure if they are vegan.
I've also re subscribed to the love lula one for a bit as I'm looking to (finally!) finish what I started and do a full switch to natural products.I am nearly out of my Smashbox Brow Tech. Had a look at this in Boots at weekend and the SA said that it will be discontinued in favour of the Brow Tech on the Go pen. I really love the powder and the brush I have and have tried applying eyeshadow (obviously not funky coloured!!) to my brows instead but it's wearing off during the day as it's not the same texture as Brow Tech or have any wax to set it with. Any recommendations for a dupe? I really don't get on with pencils. I have used my old Avon Glimmerstick today but it's too harsh looking and I end up with "Mr Men" brows as Emma puts it.
I like the Anastasia brow powders and the brow gel, my brows literally don't move all day with that gel on!0 -

Have been working (very) slowly through toiletries and was Kondoing kitchen stuff when I realised something. I had two large bottles of Method washing up liquid (plus a refill bag) from a closing down sale. Wouldn't normally buy it due to cost. Unfortunately I have about ten bottles already sitting. But then I thought - Method is basically the gentlest stuff you can get isn't it? So I'm currently using up one bottle as shower gel. Smells great and no reactions to it (unlike some actual shower gel!)Looking ahead0
