put windows 10 on yesterday took 5 hours to download and install and i must say i did not like it so did the return to windows 8.1 in recovery as this only lasts for 1 month. the windows 10 without the desktop and pretty poor contrast and brightness was a disappointment and could not get the hang of no usual desktop.

What do you mean by no usual desktop?

A lot of problems being reported aren't necessarily a fault with Windows 10. Many of them are not Universal, indicating that there was either a corrupt download or a fault with the individual system.
It's very difficult to decide which is what, but, an awful lot of people have experienced no problems.

I followed the link but it is part of Microsoft .SafeBytes , Total system care ,Driver Assist .a bit like Mc Afee.
But it did not take it off but had to pay the £48 first .

But I had a talk with HP on line and they sorted it all out no problems .
    so c:\progra~1\common~1\system\sysmenu.dll is gone

    Eh ?

Safebytes isn't part of Microsoft, it's considered malware:

I'm afraid you've just been suckered for £48
