Windows 10

I had windows 8.1 and just followed the instructions to download update to windows 10 , ok it freezes on some thing but I keep getting this message

c:\progra~1\common~1\system\sysmenu.dll

how can I get rid of it please or what is it .

It is 3-4GB of dowload , and unless you have fibre it takes ages , oh and the world and his uncle is trying to download it .....patience is called for

I had an issue doing windows 10 from 8.1. I realised I had to un install my virus checker to get the download working. This did the trick. But it took over 12 hours to download and install. I like windows 10 better than 8.1.

I put the virus checker back after windows 10 was in.

£48 later it still not taken it off c:\progra~1\common~1\system\sysmenu.dll

laptop running hot the rest of windows 10 seems ok not happy

£48???? :eek: what did you do??? You didn't download from a dodgy e-mail link did you?

put windows 10 on yesterday took 5 hours to download and install and i must say i did not like it so did the return to windows 8.1 in recovery as this only lasts for 1 month. the windows 10 without the desktop and pretty poor contrast and brightness was a disappointment and could not get the hang of no usual desktop.

Come on seriously.
And you went back to 8.1. :rotfl:
8.1 is the most ridiculous windows after Vista.

XP was best, then Windows 7 and now 10.
Very light and fast.
