    Yes there is a problem. It is very slow to display the quick balance circa 2 minutes. It is much quicker to just sign in normally. It may be a problem with their back end system rather than the app itself.

    Could you please send them a secure message as well ?
    If they get more complaints - they are more likely to repair it !!

  • That's just lies from nationwide, I was talking to them about it almost 4 weeks ago. Maybe they should also check the app reviews on play store?

    I have had a play today and have found that on a device running Android V4.1 the quick balance is displayed within a few seconds. On another two devices running Android 5.0 and 5.1.1 the quick balance takes more than a minute to display. My guess is they haven't tested the latest version of the app properly using Android V5.0 and above.

    We have been aware of an issue with the "Lollipop" Android OS, but this hasn't affected all members.

    If you're using this OS, please delete and re-install the app to see if this rectifies the issue you've been experiencing.

    If you tap the screen again after pressing quick balance it will pop up.

    I just find the whole app very jerky and not very responsive.

You may wish to uninstall the app and re-download it from the Google play store, this sometimes resolves the problem."

    Is the only response that I can get from Nationwide .....
  • When registering for the Nationwide App it asks for my date of birth, but there's no easy way of entering it!
    It's in 1956 so I have to go back month by month from May 2017 - appreoximately 732 times. Even when I reached by birth month and clicked on the day - it reverted back to TODAY's date - imagine my frustration!! Has anyone else had similar problems? I seem to remember the Ping application had the same 'feature' but at least it took my date of birth - after I'd worn out my finger tip!!
