Closed Credit Card Accounts on my Credit File

Hello all,

On my Experian report, I have 2 credit cards that are showing up as being in the last 12 months despite being closed and fully paid off 4 years ago. The month before they were paid off they were three months in arrears immediately before they were paid off.

Is this correct?

What do you mean they are "showing up as being in the last 12 months"? Are they in the active section of your credit report?
Or are they in the closed/settled section?

When you paid them off, did you contact the card companies and ask them to close the account(s) or did you just cut up your card(s) and think that was it?

Have the accounts been updated monthly since 4 years ago? If yes, what is the status? Green zero? Numbers 1-8? D?
