Issue with credit file

I recently took a loan out with Satsuma for 3 months, before I took the loan out I asked the advisor if I could change the payment date the first day of each month the advisor advised me that I could but only after the first payment had been made - so I made the payment and asked to change the date and the advisor then advised me "oh the system wont allow me to do that" so I kicked up a fuss and the complaints team came back and said weve manged a workaround we cant get the system to manualy allow it so well put it as the first of next month (a months away from my most recent payment date) and that should sort sort the problem which it did but I subsequently ended up paying early (all my payments were on time) I checked my credit file this morning and the month that they had told me tonot pay has been registed as a payment that's late by a month - this has decimated my credit file and my score which was average before (and I had never missed a payment) I phoned up to complain and they advised me that the late payment mark removed - but its still decimated my credit rating - I am not looking to take them to the ombudsman - my question is this I want financial compensation because it's going to effect my short term ability to obtain credit (which was my intention) am I being unreasonable in believing im entitled to significant compensation am I being unreasonable in thinking that im entitled to significant financial compensation?

You are not entitled to any compensation.

You will need to check your credit files next month to see if they have removed the late payment marker as things don't get updated overnight.

With regards to it affecting your ability to obtain credit, since you were applying to what essentially is equivalent to a payday loan, I highly doubt you would have been able to obtain any 'normal' form of credit since you were applying fora loan from a subprime lender, so where exactly is the problem?

I did get compensation from the FOS as they found in my favour.
