I've done most of what I intended to do yesterday...but half of those things I did today!
Feeling a little better than I have been this week, so taking it easy and trying to work on getting my plans organised and split into tiny steps. So good things/achievements for the past two days:
• Found loads of gift ideas for my friends' kids on Amazon, so next target is a fantastic train set for B's birthday in October.
• SBing is going okay — not fabulous, but I'm hitting the daily goals.
• Got another £1 today, which has gone into my savings pot.
• Posted on my blog and was complimented on Twitter by my mentor :A
• Dyed my hair. My roots have taken all that well, but it's not gone green or anything terrible.
Weekend goals:
• Make some yummy treats for my friends — we're going to Dartmoor on Sunday (weather permitting)
• Continue to work on my plans and get my head straight
• Do some freewriting
• Get to bed at a reasonable time, eat healthy breakfasts and generally take care of myself better
• Research how to make freelancing work for meRainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Wow lucky you Dartmoor is beautiful. Love the area around Okehampton. Do you know Castle Drogo? There is a beautiful walk from there through the valley along the river." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I, too, am jealous of your Dartmoor trip. Well done on the blog post and Twitter mention - it always feels great to get that kind of validation from people you respect!
Tiny steps are the best kind - you don't notice them so much but they still get you where you need to be. Glad to read that you're so positive at the mo. Wishing you lots more of that!0 -
Thanks guys :-) I had a lovely day and even got some writing done!
Bob — I can't remember if I have been to Castle Drogo, but I probably have because my parents used to go letterboxing a lot when I was young and I often joined them, so I've covered most of Dartmoor! I'm terrible with remembering places until I return to them though — then I realise it seems familiar...
I feel like I'm not making any progress, in life or debt-wise. On the bright side, I haven't made any unplanned purchases.Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Added loan to sig to see if that motivates me. The £14,451 includes interest, according to my mum's notebook ( my parents took out the loan on my behalf, so I could clear my CC and they weren't left out of pocket from me owing them several thousand). I pay back £200 a month by SO and will pay more once I pay off my Very acc and build up an EF.Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500

Letterboxing sounds fun!
I find the signature quite motivational as a tool. But everyone is different." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Got a lovely surprise yesterday — my best friend donated £10 via my website, in support of the site and my writing. I put a Paypal button on my website in case I ever get freelance clients; other people in similar situations recommended it as an easy way for clients to send payments and said that sometimes people like to donate to blogs they enjoy. The donation has given me a boost (and paid for just under 2 months of website fees!). I know my friends support my writing, but it's motivating to get a reminder.
So I'm determined to do some writing related tasks today. Here is the plan:
• Post on my blog
• Draft an article on mental health
• Work on short story idea
• Read inspirational/instructive ebooks
• Plan 2 articles and work on the plans I've already startedRainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500
