I have additional card holders linked to the same account, both cards can be used on the Underground at the same time without issue.0

what would happen if two people used it?
It recognises different cards.
Am I right in thinking that only 1 person should use 1 card (not 2 people per card) - whether oyster or contactless.
Otherwise you'd pay less with the capping if you have several people on 1 card, so I guess this is against the rules (although not impossible).0 -

You can't physically allow 2 people to use a contactless card or Oyster card because when you tap in, if you passed the card back to your partner for them to tap in after you, it would beep red and barrier won't go up. true, guess you would need to be traveling at different times, then again the penalties make it definitely not worth it!0
