Hello guys,
It's that time when I am finally ready to now try and unlink myself from the ex :T yay! This makes me happy.
Anyway can someone in the know please remind me who the 3 credit reference agencies are and a way of contacting them can it all be done online?
I am with noddle only and I know thats one of the agencies is that one call credit? anyway I shall start with having a search on there and get the ball rolling.
Thank you!

Equifax, Experian and Call Credit (Noddle).

What do you mean by "get the ball rolling"? If a financial connection is listed on your credit history you just ask the CRA to remove it. There is no ball to roll.0

Equifax seem to have taken off their online form, so you may need to create a free support account to do so. https://equifaxuk.custhelp.com/app/utils/login_form/redirect/askFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Perhaps it's just the way you're describing it: If there is a financial connection on your credit history and it is incorrect it's the responsibility of the CRA to correct it. In that case you just contact the CRA using their means of contact and ask them to correct it. There should be a button or a link to contact them if there is a problem with the credit report. There is no unlinking process that I am aware of.0 -
Don't forget that if you ever had a joint bank account with your ex, you will still be linked regardless of you contacting the CRA's, you will both need to visit the bank as both signatories will be needed to remove one person from the account.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Hello,
The joint account we had was closed when I paid the final balance years ago as it had been frozen. The mortgage was the last link we had together.MFW 2018/19 #55 target: £6,847.26/ £500 paid0
