Well, this might gross out some people, but my cats absolutely favourite food is day-old-chicks. They are a by-product of the egg industry. You can buy them frozen by the bag of 50 from most pet shops for a fiver or so, and my cats would eat these at every mealtime if they could. In fact they get one a day, most days. A complete food (although I reckon it would take 3 or so to be a whole meal for a cat, AND they are not very high in taurine). If the chicks still have a yolk sac, my cats tend to leave this behind.

It was flying ant day yesterday here in South East England, and I was amused to watch the cats catch and try one each. And then try to spit them out...

Not gross at all. One of my old cats also used to love day-old chicks as well as pinkies, fluffs and weaners (baby mice and rats for the unitiated ;) )

Hilife 8 packs are on 3 for the price of 2 in Pets at Home. I got 2 chicken and one tuna. The chicken flavour has a high meat content and I figured she would love it because I know she loves 'human' chicken. She's not impressed.
