Yes its a warning the car has not been serviced and is most likely overdue an engine oil change.
Which if continually ignored will eventually result in requiring a new engine.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Well it actually means the service interval hasn't been reset. But good to see you're keeping up,the scaremongering. :T0 -

And the service "interval involves ?"
A : Pressing the button and turning the ignition until it goes off and hoping for the best .
B: Servicing the car and ensuring at very least the Oil change is done according to spec to prevent the engine oil viscosity and lubricating efficiency decreasing with ingress of moisture, carbon particles and soot.
Hope I don't ever buy one of your cars :TI do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

There's no evidence the oil hasn't been changed, just the interval hasn't been reset. Unless you think new oil resets it.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Oh the irony from the man who uses kwickfit. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Marktheshark wrote: »Any one know of any of the chains doing Oil and filter changes only on offer at present.
Kwik fit say they no longer offer Oil and Filter changes unless you buy an oil rag wipe "service".
National tyres used to do them but appear to have ramped the price up.
Thanks.0 -
Didn't use them actually, did it myself, but I would gladly take good advantage of any offer to change the oil for less than I can buy the raw materials for.
See if you can troll any other older posts up in your infantile childish trolling to justify your position that it "only needs the light resetting" LOL,
With advice like yours on offer, I hope I never buy one of your old bangers you sell.
Anyway as you will be "running to the mods ....again...." like a school classroom snitch, we shall end the conversation hereI do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

I don't see anywhere where the op says they have missed a service. But I'm glad you can read things into posts that clearly aren't there. I'm not the one working on old bangers.
Love the fact you did it yourself despite the fact it cost you more. Very money saving. :T
Did you also con yourself into new discs and pads.0 -
