As the title says, where's the best place to buy the S6 outright?

There's some nice priced "new" ones on Ebay, but it's full of shady sellers these days and like Amazon some of them aren't helpful when expensive stuck breaks in warranty.

Looking for somewhere with good after sale support if / when things go wrong but places like O2 and the like have them locked down to their network and the prices are much higher vs Ebay and Amazon.

Have you checked the price at Giffgaff? They sell unlocked U.K. stock.

I have but they're £470 there and from as little £330 on ebay in "as new condition"
    Amazon is around £400ish new.
About £420 is as far as i can stretch.

Bought from these a few times - excellent service and personally would rather buy from them than the likes of fleabay.
Phones are superb quality - A Grade is usually as new.

If you can afford 419.99 I'd say Amazon, from Amazon themselves, for the peace of mind of after sales support. I've read some truly shocking tales on the giffgaff forums concerning both delivery of handsets and ongoing problems after the sale. I did buy a phone from giffgaff a while ago and all was fine but would not in the future.

Samsung have announced they intend cutting the price of the S6 shortly to boost sales, if you can, it might be worthwhile holding off buying one for a couple of weeks to see how big the price cut is?

As far as eBay make sure any sales as plenty of previous sales as my wife bought a phone from CEX and then it was locked by the mobile provider after a month as the seller stopped paying the line rental, this is apparently a common occupancy wit CEX/eBay. Fortunately for my wife CEX refunded the cost in new.

Yeah £330 from ebay from someone that only opened it to check it and decided its not the phone they wanted.

A while later your phone is locked, you contact the network it its been reported stolen or it was a contract phone and they stopped paying.

    £330 paperweight.
