Eligibility checker and Post Office 25 month card

I got a 0% chance and applied because I thought it was wrong but got declined although my rating at the time of checking was high on the credit rating. So now I want to know whether, if and how it has adversely affected my otherwise excellent track record because I've seen that it's taken a bit of a hit since the PO declined my application.

Post office accepted me but only for 16 month 0% deal. The 26 month deal with the Clydesdale bank is better though.
