Eligibility checker and Post Office 25 month card

I'm a bit confused. The eligibility checker is giving me a 0% chance for a Post Office credit card whilst all the others are between 95% or 80%. Is there some particular requirement for this card that I've missed?

Could it be something like this? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/borrowing/creditcards/10191773/Perfect-borrowers-rejected-by-credit-card-firms.htmlHappy chappy0

I used the checker recently was told I had 0% chance of getting a sainsburys credit card.
I applied and was accepted with a 2k credit limit.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
I was given 40% chance but still got a Halifax credit card for our foreign travel.0

The checker does the same for me as well.
Says I'm not eligible for the card.
I haven't been refused credit for years and have other cards such as MBNA, M&S, Lloyds, Bank Of Scotland.
So as far as I'm aware my credit rating is very good/excellent and the criteria on the actual credit card website, doesn't mention anything that would make me non eligible to at least apply for it.
It's a good deal, particularly, as I'm looking for a replacement TV and also going to America, so wouldn't mind getting some of my dollars on it.
EDIT......Just applied and was accepted with a £4300 limit on 18.9% APR.
The only thing is, it mentioned 16 months 0% on purchases and balance transfers, within the agreements section, but nowhere mentioned anything about 25 months if purchase made in first 3 months.
I will assume, that is because the 0% for 25 months is only if you make your first purchase in the first 3 months and so they have to put down the standard 0% period.0 -

My partner was given a 90 percent chance of the card but has just been declined. However he has recently switched his HX c/a to NW c/a
so whether that has any bearing on it I don't know.
However when he did bank with them he was always receiving online offers to apply for the card.0 -
All others say 90-95% for me but post office is 0% too0

I got the same limit and same 16 months 0% when I applied today. I also then checked the eligibility checker and it said I had 70% chance of getting the card.
I was surprised that there was no mention of 25 months in the T+Cs, even in the promotions section. We signed the T+Cs, not the website. T+Cs obviously hold more weight in court, so I believe that if it came down to it, it'd be the advertising standards we'd be complaining to if the 25 months offer doesn't appear, as it wasn't actually in our agreements that we signed. Wait and see I suppose.0 -
I was told I had 0% chance of getting a Virgin Atlantic card. I applied with instant decision and was accepted with a 3K limit0

OK, thanks for the feedback. Maybe the checker is a bit unreliable.Happy chappy0

Agree, once I've get everything set up online, I will contact them, via the website, so I have the answer in writing so to speak.
I'm looking at the new TV certainly within the next month or two, so be good to know.
As for the timescales for processing everything, well the card was with me on Saturday, pin arrived today and I'm waiting for my letter, with details of setting up the online account, as you need a 6 digit pin they send you.0
