How to heat my Huse
Comments
-
Normal underfloor should operate @ circa 35C at 0C outside,(GSHP), rising higher as outside temps get lower, but the range if pretty much graduated.
I cannot see why the pump would be designed to run @ 45C, as that is quite low.
45 degrees is quite hot the average bath is about 38/39 degrees0 -

Is this the thermia diplomat optimum G3 GSHP?As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0

it is indeed, i have been told about thermia previously but i never looked them up until now0

Where are you getting the 7 COP from, as according to the data sheet @0C the tech specs i can see on 1 model, the 10 is cop5?
In the normal EN14511 spec, it drops to 4.8 COPAs Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
sorry i meant to type 5 and i cant put up the link but click on heat pump guide then click on download heat pump catalogue, that's what i was reading.0

No problem. The COP is about 4.8. Are you considering using it in cooling mode as well?

i would imagine so, and at the risk of sounding a bit snobby ill also use it to heat the pool0

If you are going to use it to cool the house, then you will need dehumidifiers, to reduce the condensation.
We have a number of units here in Italy, that heat pools. I do not know how that unit works, but if on pool heating, it may shut off house heating until it switches back.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
