I'm missing a few familiar faces..how are SlowlyFading, cw18, Ginnyknit et al, doing these days? There's that (mad) one who did things in the park & trained tamed catty pillips to stand in for eyebrows...

The NSD gang is an ever-evolving lifeform, BigMumma, people come, people go, they come back again after spending time in their alternative universes. When they come back there is always tea and cupcakes and pilchard quiche on offer, and their old chair is there waiting for them.

Mind you, when you turned up again recently, we had to evict an army of voles from your chair. It seems the voles living in Helga' s beard had a happy event and decided your chair, with the big comfy dent in it where you had been sitting, would make an excellent nursery. Don't worry, though, Mrs Doyle got the stains off with some hypertonic caustic soda solution.

All right, Igor, I know summer is not summer without a sports day, but at least let's do it tomorrow to give people a chance to get in training. Running races, sack races, long jump, egg and spoon races, all jolly good fun, and you can wear your running shorts and flash your knees at everyone. I suppose you and your new best friend Bert Scroggins will do the three legged race?

And I suppose Chef will put on a barbecue for the occasion?

All we need is some music and dancing and that is the end of month party sorted! Oh, you say you know this really good band, do you?
