The second post on the front page gives a lot of good advice.
I don't count budgeted spends for example,grocery,cat food,toiletries etc. I have a lot of budgets.
So,like I said,have a think about what counts and doesn't for you.Everyone has their own rules.

Advice AND tea, I love it already! I'm not going to count DDs or medical/dental spends but everything else is fair game. I think that's the best way to start anyway... keep me on my toes!

a spend day today :(had to pay for post office to certify my ID for crb check to start uni, but could maybe justify that to myself as an unavoidable essential. Also had to buy a new frying pan as I destroyed the other one by cutting up the chicken as it cooks as I hate squidgy raw chicken :eek:

Really need to think about what I count as a nsd hmmm!

Really do love these challenges as they get you thinking about what you are spending your money on.

It was a dark and stormy night.....Inspector Swindle,I do apologise.I mistakenly put the voles on premature attack mode,and Chefie,well,you know Cheffie...here,we just need to apply some antibiotic cream and a bandage.You can borrow some of Cheffie's trousers.

The great thing is that you change your rules as well.What was ok a few months ago might not work for you any more now.
Mine rules have changed a lot since I started.
