Feeling a lot better today but still not 100% so going to potter around the house. Definately font feel like driving today!

Working from my own lists today as bathrooms look ok and the house generally needs a little tlc.

OH did a couple of hours ironing last night. Bless him! It helped that he didn't have any ironed shirts for work today! So now I have a basket of ironing but is not overflowing into the floor. I might put a film on for the kids this afternoon and we can watch that while I try to do some.

    My list...
    Have a shower
    Wash up
    Wm x 2
    Tidy up living rooms
    Vax hall carpet.
    Tidy up kitchen
    Tidy up master bedroom
    Take rubbish and recycling out
    Hhi x 4
Clean the doors in the hallway

    Ok. Will leave it there....

    Thanks for the lists :D

We're in of sorts here. We cleaned the whole house top to bottom yesterday so we're good for now, but I need to keep up with the dailies and add in some more now we have a dog who keeps creating hair balls under every item of furniture in the livingroom :(

This week we're concentrating on the back to school shop for uniform (stationary can be done in Mr A while grocery shopping ;)). DD wants a skirt and as she's tall this requires trips to multiple shops to find one that's long enough. I have a list, its just a case of visiting them now. Then she needs trainers & school specific stuff. I'm hoping to get it done today, but somehow I doubt it! We have the dentist tomorrow and I have a work deadline, so that's tonight's job. Other than that, its errands in various areas of the city all week and maybe some trips out if the weather stays nice ;)

I best get moving, lots to hopefully fit in today. I'll do the bathroom tonight after I've had a bath ;)

Please can I join you all.

Making some small tweaks to my life from today and the house is becoming more of a focus. I would also like to try and get more of a routine as I tend to 'waste' time doing not a lot, so want to be more productive instead of procrastinating.

I do have some home work to do that is going to take quite a lot of the day, but I think I can fit in things around it - Must be completed by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

    So here goes:
Mighty Monday: Bathroom and Study / PC area
    Level 1
[STRIKE]Sinks! And taps and grotty plugholes
    Toilets! Don’t forget the outside!
Clear that cluttered windowsill or shelf [/STRIKE]
    Level 2
Straighten up your desk and wipe over
Switch off the kit and wipe over the keyboard with an antibac wipe or similar
Switch it back on and de-fragment the disc
    Level 3
Back to bathroom, clean the bath / shower
    Mop floors
    Wash a window or two
    Extras:
    Put fresh towels out
    Wipe down some tiles
    [STRIKE]Check your calendar for August - it's nearly here![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Tidy your handbag or purse[/STRIKE]

    Morning All

Well I've pretty much done nothing this morning although the WM & TD are on and dog has been walked, so I need to make a start. I've got about an hour before I have to go and fetch DS from summer school so I'll do 2 back to back HHCs if anyone would like to join me.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Spent best pRt of 3 hours in one of the spare bedrooms and have finally found some carpet! I've got a box of stuff for the CS, about two black bags of rubbish and a half bag of paper recycling.
Have unearthed some stuff that needs to go over my mums in a couple of weeks, and the crochet cottons I'm offering my friend a sort through this afternoon.
Ds2 and his friend who slept over have just headed off up town and lounge has been left tidy!!!!
Found the sun suit I thought I'd already given DD2 for DGS on holiday so that has been set aside.

Going to grab a cuppa now then start disposing of the bags of stuff and putting them where they need to go.
got a couple of things that can go to work with DH has tomorrow for the skip.

Out shopping most of the morning, and to the bank. Making good progress on upstairs bathrooms until whizz something went up the Hoover nozzle and got stuck  I convinced myself it was a dead mouse :rotfl: never even seen a mouse in here, no evidence of any. Anyway. After much prodding, poking, shining of torches and ultimately jousting with broom handles, a rather ominous looking screw with a large round plastic cap popped out :rotfl:.

Vacuum is saved, however said blockage came from behind the loo, so goodness knows what it's supposed to hold together- hoping it's just part of the seat and nothing plumbing-ey.

Need to wash the bath again as I operated on the vac hose over it :o

Such sad news about the little boy from Barnsley:( poor little man. How shocking. Stories like this make it so hard for us not to wrap our little ones in cotton wool :(
