Hi all,
I've just bought a new build and it has fibre already installed (just needs a router to stick on the end of a cable in the cupboard). I also received a letter from See the Light/Sky advertising their packages.
The connection fee is £80 which seems way too steep considering they are only remotely connecting us and don't need to come out. I suppose they are sending out a router too but still...
Any way I can get this lowered or scrapped? £80 just seems a little steep considering.
Thanks.

Unfortunately no-one else can connect you as they hold a monopoly on supply HOWEVER, looking briefly at their website suggests that you could get a 50% discount on installation cost by booking online?0

That's a shame. And yeah, the £80 fee is after the 50% discount unfortunately.0
