Bropadband needed for students sharing house please !

Options
My daughter and four others are sharing a house this year in their 2nd year in Uni and because there is nothing provided in the house , would like to get broadband I assume so that they can each connect wirelessly to it ( Does that make sense ?)
Are there any good deals for this so that they could share the cost....perhaps with free phone calls also.............Maybe TV thrown in, I'm just being asked !
Reliable internet access is the most important..........The other bits would be icing if the cost isn't too prohibitive
All ideas gratefully accepted !!
Thanks
:confused::confused:

Excuse Typo............I want Broadband not "Bropadband"

    Do you know if they have an existing telephone line at the property?

    Are they looking for just broadband or are they looking for a house phone as well?

    If its the former then Virgin offer high speed broadband without the need of a phoneline (if they're in a cable serviced area). Then to get it wireless they would have to buy a wireless cable router (about £30) so they can share it between the 4 of them.

    Theres of course other providers however they only provide the service if theres a BT line active & in use by the tennants.

    HTH :)

    I think that there is an NTL connection in the house...........There is also a BT line there, but I don't think it's connected.
