No road markings, no signage on side of the road?

Turned out i was in a permit only area.
Last time I visited this road there were no restrictions.

There are these signs at the top of the road but didn't even notice them, no excuse I know.

It was actually Mon-Fri 11-1pm with no Q code.

I drive in central London half the week, I have a good understanding of where to park and not to park but in the little town of folkestone, once your on this road, there's no way of telling you can't park here.

I did walk the whole length of that road, there is no signs or marking what so ever on that sign of the road. The only signs you can see on the right say construction site, keep out etc. There is one sign the opposite side, which is quite far from where I am parked. I know why there is no signs that side, as there is no street lamps to fit them to.

What are the rules on road markings, signage once you're in a permit zone?

What are the rules on loading in a permit zone?

if this is council, you should go ask over on pepipoo forums, where the "council" ticket experts are (its mainly private tickets on here)
