Tut tut, reading this in the middle of the night, risk waking the whole house up with my laughter, particularly the last one. Please put a warning in your title.

When I found out what he'd done tabasco sauce wasn't needed .....my foot up his backside was sufficient for him to paint the ceiling!

It isn't the fault of Neff that you purchased several items in order they match. One item is faulty and one item has been offered as a replacement.

Insurance companies generally don't replace a bathroom suite if you break a basin.
  • I am in the exact same situation as the OP.

Siemens appliances although still same company - £8k spent on them all matching. Had 3 downdraft extractors replaced due to them being damaged in transit and bent, microwave has been repaired 5 times and now agreed to replace it 1 year later and they want to replace it for a newer model which looks like the others in the same row.

Must admit I am a bit disappointed in the responses - the OP and myself paid for matching appliances. Then one is defective so they replace with a newer model defeats the object of having new appliances that all match. In actual fact Siemens and Neff make a habbit of having the top of the range models be the only ones which line up forcing you to buy the top one.

Small Claims Court and charge back via CC is coming there way.

    On what basis?

Honestly both you and the OP come across like Violet Elizabeth Bott

at some point in the future one of the appliances would fail and you would still be without matching items.
Can you not source a second hand one?

If you want people to agree with you, you need to ask your friends and not strangers on the internet.

Of course, just because your friends would agree with you it doesn't make them correct.

You have no basis for a chargeback/S75 with the credit card company, unless there is some part of the story you are not revealing that may change things? You are free to take them to court as is your right, but your chances of success will be somewhere between nil and zero.
  • Update.

    I win!

Wren have agreed after much hassling to replace with three matching appliances. Now all I have to do is wait. If they come up with the goods, I'll be posting some positive comments about them.

Makes me laugh on this forum... other users are so negative. I also won under a S75 which everyone was very sceptical and negative of ever happening.

    Well done :)
  • All the hassle was worth it.

Over the last couple of weeks, Wren have supplied via BSH (Neff), three new ovens and two warming drawers. All matching, and I installed them this weekend.

If anyone else finds themselves in this situation, remember, you just have to be persistent.
