I'm surprised and disappointed in the comments from the posters above. MSE is usually populated by like-minded souls.
Do these people think that it is acceptable for a company to supply crappy products and treat customers with contempt?
Let's look at this another way. Imagine you bought a premium car, for example a silver Mercedes, and the front wing falls off. You claim on the guarantee and they offer you a replacement wing in cherry red from a different model. Still drives fine and takes you from A to B, but the only problem is that it doesn't match. Would this be acceptable to you?
but you didn't buy a complete car in silver, you bought the wings, doors, boot and engine separate.
Regarding the alleged malnourishment of 50% of the global population, I'd be interested to see some evidence to back up that assertion. More relevant, perhaps is that the other 50% of the population are overweight and would be better off without fitted kitchen appliances.
I work hard for my cash and can spend it on whatever I want to (including charity donations if I choose), but along with most of the MSE community, I expect to get a fair deal.
So to sum up:-
1) Would I buy Neff applicances again? No.
2) Would I buy from Wren again? No. Kitchen arrived late, parts missing and with numerous faults.
But both of these statements could change if the customer services people pull their fingers out.

All,
I bought a set of matching appliances, not a pile of odd ones.
The fault with the microwave is failure of the internal rotating plate motor, which lead to contact with the machine base and lots of very messy arcing. As an engineer myself, I know that nothing is totally beyond repair, but this is pretty major.
The model is c57w40n3gb. The odd ex-display one can be seen in the sold items on ebay, so if I wait a while one may come up. I've already searched the Neff dealer network.
Other suggestions appreciated.0 -

no your contract is with Wren, you need to be chasing them0

Surely that's one of the pitfalls of having matching items?
As a personal example when we did up our bedroom a few years ago I got 2 sets of matching bedding(one on bed one in wash) and got the matching curtains as well.
Dog chewed the one duvet cover so the theory of one in wash one on bed went out of the window. Couldn't even get a cover that would go with the pattern. Swore that I would never get matching bedding to curtains again.
Luckily whilst browsing through one of those catalogues you get in magazines, I've seen the pattern.
As annoying as it is for the OP its hardly poor customer service if the exact model / design can't be sourced0 -

Moneysaving answer.
Smear Marmite on the 2nd duvet cover and let the dog nibble on it for a while.
Result = 2 matching duvet covers again!0 -

What do you suggest he smears on the curtains so that they match? We need to know the size of dog to gauge whether it can reach high enough to ensure an even distribution of bite marks/pattern.0 -

In that case, I would suggest a bit of Tabasco.
Just make sure that this is smeared on the dog's ar5e instead of on the fabric and it won't matter in the slightest how high the curtains are, it will still manage to reach the top.0
