Gosh, it's so near you can practically taste it!

You will indeed PB - you guys on here know more than anyone, I'm not telling anyone about the induction because I don't want constant messages asking how we are getting on to me or OH!
I've made the mortgage OP so we are now officially going to be under £159k when the interest gets added on on 14th MarchHopefully I'll have a baby by then, but either way we will not go over £159k again :j
My list is getting smaller...but not by much!! OH is being pretty useless! I did a list, did 4 things on it and then went for lunch with my Mom, sister and niece. I expected OH to do at least 2 or 3 things being as I spent all day yesterday running round like a blue arsed fly but when I came back he was on the sofa and hadn't ticked a single thing off
Not the time to be winding me up!! He then said he had a headache so I sent him for a half an hour lie down with some paracetamol... 3 hours later he surfaced after 2 wake ups from me. Annoyed is an understatement when there is still baby stuff to do!!
I'm leaving my list for now as I've got a nasty headache and I'm going to have a bath and get an early night. Wish me luck! xx:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Enjoy your bath & hope you get a nice sleep.
Sorry to hear OH is being a pain, give him a (metaphorical) kick up the bum but try not to stress out. You can only do what you can do & if he won't help you now, he'll just have to do it himself later.
I say that but know how you feel, I've been losing the rag with DH leaving stuff lying all over the house for days instead of just putting it back where he found it once he's finished with it. :mad:Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Just wanted to say how pleased I am for you and wish you well for the birth!!
Can't wait to hear news of the little man and hope he arrives smoothly for you!
(PS - my husband was useless before my first was born and now he is brilliant. He didn't even bother to test the car seat fitted into our car before DS was born. Guess what? The seatbelt in our car was too short to get around it so I had to call my dad to take us home and while we were waiting DS needed feeding - lots of crying int he hospital car park and no magical taking home moment. I think that was husbands wake up moment.)

Thanks Sashy, he has been much better today, and done everything I’ve asked and more so he has redeemed himself!
I’m now having a nightmare with his work though, who are useless! His paternity leave can’t start until the baby is born so the first day (of induction) he wants to take emergency unpaid leave. I’ve looked into it and I’m pretty sure he’s entitled to but his boss is adamant his paternity leave starts the day I am induced, meaning less time at home with me and Donut. I need to write an email to his boss explaining that he is wrong but without putting what I want to, which is pretty rude given I’m hormonal, overtired and worried about the induction
Thanks crunchy, I’m hoping it is fairly smooth being as my body has already started doing the bit that takes the time but we will soon find out!
Hospital bags are double checked ready, along with an extra bag in case of an extended stay.
I’m glad that was your DHs wake up call, sounds very stressful at a time when you need minimal stress! OH has been pretty good with the practical stuff, car seat went in earlier this week and he has familiarised himself with putting it in and taking it out so hopefully that will be a load off my mind.
I must admit to planning something terribly un-mse as I’m determined to have the bounty shoot done and buy a couple of the pics if I like them. I’ve got money set aside for it so it’s not out of budget, but I keep having guilt pants for being willing to be suckered in to something like that - on the whole I think it’s terrible to have a captive, emotionally highly strung and in pain bunch of women and show them beautiful photos of their brand new babies which cost a fortune...but it doesn’t stop me wanting some done :rotfl:
There’s nothing much to report now as I have emptied the PADing pot to make the mortgage OP so no change to any figures until next week at the earliest, unless I can convince OH that he wants to do some Tilly tidyingxx

Glad to hear OH has behaved today. :T My DH has been very good & taken all his junk back out to the garage. :j Yes very frustrating to have to lose my temper, although I've found leading by example can sometimes work.
Sorry to hear about OH's work, what a pain! Hope you get it sorted, doesn't he have an HR person he can refer this to rather than you having to do it?
Don't feel guilty about the photos, although this wasn't a thing when I had DS. There was a bounty lady who gave me a bag of stuff & took my details because I didn't have the energy to tell her to s*d off:rotfl: but no photos thankfully. I agree it is pretty bad on the captive audience front though.
