Why do people spray deodorant round in public changing rooms?

It's like saying sugar is in everything so what's the point in trying to avoid it. Or smoke is everywhere so why bother giving up smoking.
Go though the list of ingredients above and you'll see that many of them are in fact harmful to health or the environment (usually both).
Yes but that in isolation means nothing. As with all things in this regard, it is about dose. Water can be harmful if you drink to much of it in a short period - it's what famously killed Leah Betts. Just because something is known to be harmful at a given dose, does not mean its inclusion is necessarily harmful.Remember Occam's Razor - the simplest explanation is usually the right one.

Isn't this moving from the point slightly? I thought the question was more about why are people being so inconsiderate rather than what is wrong with deodorant and what it's made from. Even if someone is spraying eco-spray made from refined rose oil with a cure-all component for all illnesses ever; if someone else has not invited and does not want that spray over them for whatever reason, surely it's their right to not want this and also for others to respect personal space. Let alone the/any harmful part of any medication.0

I feel exactly the same Sue, not that I've been in a gym since school days. But sometimes you only have to walk past people in the street & the smell of their dot or whatever absolutely chokes you, & it ain't a particularly nice smell either. Oh & some of them still stink of BO, they obviously use it instead of washing. I prefer a roll on myself.0

I also have always used roll on antiperspirants. Can't bear aerosols, and try not to use them. I often wonder how hairdressers can be around so much hairspray, because it just can't be good to breathe the stuff in.0
