Also filling some of the hairline cracks in the tiles seems to have worked. This hasn't solved the deeper cracks.
I suggest editing your original post and adding this as it's very important and will change things.0 -
The tiles must be fair wear and tear. Floor tiles should be able to withstand a dropped cup other wise they aren't of sufficient quality.0
