The correct location in my console example is here:

The empty box scammers list in

Video Games & Consoles->Consoles

More generally, I think the best place for empty boxes is in an accessory category or wholesale & job lots - they should never be listed AS the item itself.

I think in some categories Ebay now bans the sale of empty boxes, as these can assist counterfeiters but I might be imagining this.

As mentioned if the empty box or picture is posted in the correct section then fair enough, but when its listed in consoles then its a deliberate attempt at fraud and they should be closed down.

Why is that empty box listed under Frangrances?

Maybe petition ebay for an empty box, a picture not the real item and general scams section?

It says in the item specifics that the frangrance volume is 80ml. How will that be sent if he isnt sending any perfume
