Talk talk still taking payments

Hi guys,
Some advice for my sister is required.
In January she changed her broadband, phone and line rental to bt with an activation date of February.
She has a full package including anytime calls.
Anyways, she has still been getting billed from talk talk at about £4 a month.
I have spoke to talk talk and they say it's because she was on a call plan and never cancelled it? But say it was all cancelled when they took over the service.
Unfortunately the talk talk call centres are extremely poor when it comes to English and extremely frustrating trying to get answers from them....
They have now said, after talking to them last month, that her service will be cancelled from mid August but she owes them till then?
Anyway, she had no outstanding contract with talk talk having been with them several years so it's not for that.
Today my sister received a red letter from talk talk for £24 telling her if she doesn't pay they may restrict her service..... Lol, she hasn't got one!
So, what to do. I've spent time on the phone with bt who have now sent an email to me stating they took over all services in February but talk ta don't have a customer complaints email so I can't do anything with it...
All I want is a British call centre to talk to and a refund of the money they took up until my sister noticed them 'stealing' money from her.
Any advice welcomed.

Didn't she cancel the DD when she she received the 'final' bill then? Did she use a MAC to switch her service? No free lunch, and no free laptop0

She use a Mac to transfer the service.
She didn't cancel the direct debit as she shouldn't have to as talk talk have no right to any money.0 -
The TT bills should give a title of some sort to the £4 per month item. TT may have been providing antivirus software, for example (called Super Safe Boost) for £2 per month, maybe this didn't get cancelled. Please tell us exactly what the billed item is called.
Your sister may be able to get this sorted out either in the TT online community, or by using online chat.0
