As above, you can cancel your trial of Prime, and you'll still get the free trial period, and it'll run out in due course, with no charge to your card.0

I shouldn't worry about it - I've joined prime a few times to get the months trial around Christmas time, and I've never had a problem cancelling it. Make the most of it while you've got it - as long as you remember to cancel in time you'll be fine. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
only wants to allow me to join once only , last free one was nov last yr , but it says I have to pay now0

I have only heard good stories about people being able to cancel their Prime subscription.

I think most of the Horror stories are about people who didn't even try to cancel, rather than about those who tried and failed0

I accidentally joined last week to get the Amazon fire stick as it was only available to Prime members. I though I was signing up for a trial but I had already had my trial last year and was charged £79. I instantly cancelled it and the money was refunded. I've already got the credit card statement showing the debit and the credit on the same day.
If you haven't used the Prime features it's very easy to get a refund.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Amazon is very good with customer interface as long as you cancel it in time you will be perfectly fine.0

They automatically renewed my Prime Account on April (at the New price) Only noticed a few weeks later after my bank was £79 lighter than usual!!
A quick jump onto My Amazon account page. Cancelled the prime service and 3 days later all £79 was back in my account.
no hassle, no fuss, no muss! ^_^Laters
