Im Very Upset About This!!

Hi There

I sell on ebay. Just second hand clothes of ours we no longer use, bits around the house etc. Anyway I have good feedback of 590 with 1 negative feedback only :

Yesterday I had about 30 small auctions finishing and one person bidded on about 21 of them, all different items so knew it was bogus, but he didnt bid till about an 20mins before they finished and couldnt stop any of them.

I know who this guy is. He won a mans suit about 3 months off me and never paid dispute several emails, so after 4 weeks i went through the non paying bidders programme and he got an unpaid strike and was then was taken off ebay :T He sent me nasty emails saying he would "f**k me up" and i would be sorry. I sent an email back telling him that I was sorry for what had happened and that if he paid for the suit-I could then remove the strike. He then emailed me back telling me "to go to hell" and that he had another username.

I knows it him. I have sent an email to ebay explaining situation. He won over £110 worth of goods-which was basically all my items. I have been charged listing fees and final fees on these now.

I am so upset!! I am disabled and enjoy running my ebay as its only small scale, and is more of a hobby-as well as clearing the clutter. I dont want to relist as he may buy using another username....Im stuck as what to do

Please someone help me-this is so unfair!!

Could you change your username - or else keep reporting him?

Im sorry this has happend to you. I suggest is tighting up your buyer preferances and stopping anyone without a payapl account or who is bidding on more than 4 of your items bidding. Also putting this guys id on blocked bidder. You could have still pulled his bids at the last minute, i have done it in the final seconds to one hoax bidder.

*** Report him quickly to ebay for having false contact info as this is the quickest way to have someones account pulled. ( go to email contact us and work down the choices ). This also might stop him leaving you negs. Then you can file non payer strikes to get your final fees back and then relist.

It might seem a pain tighting up your listings for a while but as people can re- register so easily it seems the only thing to do for a while. I pull the details on anyone who sems suspect to me and dont hesitate if they seem suspicious to pull their bid. Some people put in that newbies are not aloud to bid or to contact first . It is better that than having my listings ruined.

Penny_Pincher there is something you can do, the same kind of thing happened to me once as well. I may have trouble explaining this..so pm me if I don't make any sense.

If you are absolutely sure this is the same guy then firstly you need to pretend to him that you haven't realised..with any luck he will email you and incriminate himself. Just go through the normal routine, send him an invoice etc and don't let him know you have realised.

At the same time contact ebay and report this bidder as a malicious bidder, I can't remember what the options for reporting are but I recall you get a chance to explain why you consider this malicious, at that point explain about the previous threats.

Hopefully his address details will show the same address, so report him for using ebay on a new id while suspended on his previous ID.

I had to keep on at ebay but finally I got an acknowledgement that my bidder was malicious and his account was suspended for good and as he had left me negative feedback that was totally removed as well. I also got back all my final value fees but not the listing fees.

Just in case he is being clever block him at this point as well so he can't bid on anything else.

One last thing, I currently have a bidder that is bidding on every single thing I list, I don't know why and I have thought about asking for thoughts on here. In my case though this buyer is paying up and leavig me positive feedback and is extremely charming, but i still can't work out why he wants everything i list.

Hi Do as cat 72 advises and most importantly block him from bidding on any further auctions and change your buyer preferences to no-one under 10 feedbacks, might be worth sending a copy of his last malicious email to Ebay then they will suspend his account.

    Good Luck

what a bleeder........ some people dont have a life at all and just want to screww up other peoples enjoyment.....

as Soolin has said..... register each item as an NPB (after 7 days), that way you will get fees back.
    also relist the items....

    did any one else bid......?
if so, send them a second chance offer

stand up to him...... ebya has its faults, but as mentioned there are ways of helping this chap fall into the hole......
smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to.... ;)

Maybe you have a stalker/admirer? Or maybe they really do need everything that you are selling?!?!

Unfortunately it is only possible to set your preferences to block people with less than 0 feedback, not for 'less than 10'.

This would concern me if the items you are selling are unrelated, and if the buyer was not buying from anyone else. Is the buyer buying from others?

Yes, he is buying from three of us, all slightly related items and is paying and leaving positive feedback.

I;m tempted to ask him why, but what on earth could I say that didn't make me sound like a weird seller?
