Thank you, I have already sent them proof that they had no right to operate as the land is nothing to do with them. Perhaps I could see a solicitor if and when they come back to me.

I haven't done a land registry search to see if they own the neighbouring land, I believe they just manage it based on the signs they've put up, but could be wrong. Either way, I've drawn a lot of confidence in dealing with them from the advice gained on this site!

Well it's been a long time since I've needed to update this, but I've finally heard back from Popla. I wasn't sure what the deal was having not heard from them for such a long time. But they've rejected my appeal. They've said that I have argued that I can park in the area managed by PTL, which isn't what I was arguing at all! My argument was that the land I was in was adjacent to the land PTL manage therefore they had no right to issue a ticket.

The letter they've sent says they can't enter into any more correspondence with me and that I have 28 days to pay....

    Any advice??? I'm lost hre!!

I doubt it was POPLA, more likely to be WRIGHT HASSELL

there is no reason to pay if you dont want to as the decision is not binding on you

the PPC now have 6 years to try a court claim in the small claims court

if it was WH, you could complain to the ISPA , Nicola Mullaney

as per redex , is the refusal on a WH letterhead or same postcode as WH (lemmington spa) if so this is because they heard your appeal without letting you update things

please clarify where the letter came from (or the email address)

Was the letter from Wright Hassall ?

If so then complain to Nicola Mullaney ISPA

Thera are serious doubts about the viability of Wright Hassall

And what other similar threads did you read - because you should! The obvious search words are 'WH POPLA'. Try it.

LOADS of threads about this stage, loads of people sitting tight after a daft decision and complaining to ISPA, particularly if you were not sent an initial letter by WH giving you the chance to add post-Beavis comments.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
