What do you intend to use it for? If its a "just in case" use your normal one. You need to work out how much you will use it and if a locally sourced sim, that will have much better rates is worth it. Lets say its 10 E for a sim card, will you make enough calls to recover that cost..

if your phone is unlocked - take a look at getting a 3 PAYG sim. A £10 bundle will get you a fair amount of calls to the UK and UK Mobile numbers / unlim texts to UK mobiles and 500mb data (IIRC)
Spain (& Islands) is one of 3's [EMAIL="'@home'"]'@home'[/EMAIL] destinations, so as long as you can live with a temp number while you're away, it might suit your needs?
