Solicitors charges for flight delay claim.

We travelled as a party of four under one flight/holiday booking reference. We were delayed for 25 hrs, Thomson have agreed to settle my claim only after I had to go to nwnf solictor. The issue I have is that they are charging 27% of the total compensation €2400. I believe that they should only charge for the lead passenger as only one application should of been submitted by quoting the fligh/ holiday reference. I did query the charge but was told they had to apply as individual passengers which I do not think was the case. Any one got any thoughts or experience of this sort of occurrence.

The NWNF firm are correct and the agreement you signed would have stated this in their t&c's. If only the lead/one person had submitted/been agreed by Thomson then only €600 (less costs) would have been received.0
