    Be cool, guys :)

    Studying is expensive.

Loans suck (I have one still)

'**** off' is kinda against the 'be nice to all moneysavers' thing

Returning stuff you didn't buy is dishonest.

Trying to sell stuff on the forums is a no-no.

    Any questions? :D

    Kinda agree really................:D

    EM xx

Erm **** off. £20,000 debt equalls 4 years at Uni. £3000 a year for tuition fees and £3000 a year for maintenence loan which doesnt even cover accomodation.

Thats £6000 a year GONE without the costs for food, books, travelling. Say £6500 year MINIMUM. £6500 X 4 = £26000. Take away couple of hundred because of my JOB. Hopefully that puts it into perspective why students are complaining. Hardly fair is it so I can have a good education, have a good job and succeed!

Sorry about that, I get really annoyed when people here the word Student. Then go on about how we blow our loans on going out. Thats my total debt from 4 years without going out and socialising. I dont even go out that often, im too busy trying to make money from websites and a part time job back at home. If only they knew what really happens.

I'd sort of agree with you to the point where I am returning to my fourth year at uni in Sept, and I don't have half as much debt as you. And your maths doesnt add up one bit in the exmaple above.
I dont understand how your paying £3k a when you've done 4 years there, for you (and myself) it should be circa £1100. As for £3k per year maintanence loan or student loan it should cover living expenses it if you top up by working in the summer when your not there, like I do and my mates do.

If your coming out with massive debts other than your loan and tution fees then you are p!ss!ng it away and I am justified in saying this because I know how much it costs to be a student. Nobody made you go to uni and if you did think ahead you would know how much it costs and the level of debt you come out with.

Your original question thought doesnt sound like someone who has put 4 years in at uni. Unless you did a slackers course and teaches that defrauding retailers is a legitimate way to fund a degree.
  • you got it for free lad, if its not even been touched and its still pristine i would list it as Brand New unwanted and keep my fingers crossed, anything over £200 and you should be happy

I think you should take it back to a shop. Then post on here from your cell saying how much you regreted DEFRAUDING a shop over £200

  • A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Sell it while the prices for these items are still good - it'll only depreciate as you waste time deciding what it should be worth.

The OP said the reason he wants to comit fraud (by defenition) is because of going to uni and this leaving him with debt. You can't go to uni without being a student.
What grabed my attention with this post was his laxed attitude that being a student was an excuse to return goods by deception.

If I was a retailer i'd be concerned that this is seen as acceptable and I dont think I need to say that most of us would be happy being handed £200.

Dunno about you OP but the student loan company aren't demanding i pay back every penny of my loans back tomorrow, repayments are minimal so the idea that one would desperately need £80 (the difference betweent he RRP you're looking to get back and the market value) to pay back their student loan is frankly ridiculous.
My take on this is that you knew what you were suggesting was illegal and as such tried to distract people on here with the loan debt part of your post. Either that or you've not understood or (more likely, i'm the same) not read how the loan repayment works.
Apologies for sounding like a total ****
