Downgrading wheel and tyre size

Well after a good test drive (160 mile round trip to Fountain's Abbey) I'm quite pleased.
I got Goodyear Efficient grip, incredibly quiet compared to old tyres. Whisper quiet. Had radio several volume levels lower than previously.
Also seen a boost of 3-4 mpg over similar run. Will see if that keeps up.
The thicker tyres may be a bit more comfy but might just be in my head.
Other things noticed: speedo slightly more inaccurate than before...predictably though. Compared with TomTom and my speedo is always showing 10% faster than satnav.
Odometer has been affected by about +1.9%, suggesting I'm doing more miles than I have. But since over 100,000 miles it would only exaggerate to 101,900. I'm not hugely concerned about the impact on the car's resale value.
I should imagine that the cost of rectifying wouldn't be worth it.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000
