Overdraft student account

I am about to go to my second year of uni, I am with Barclays and have an overdraft of about 1500. Last year I applied for a student account and was accepted but they wouldn't transfer the overdraft....since then I have been paying their ridiculous overdraft fee of at least £50 a month and I can't afford it. Do I have any options available please?

If, as per your other thread, you also owe £8K on a credit card, it sounds like you're in too deep and need drastic surgery on your finances, especially if you're (primarily) studying rather than earning - worth posting over on the debt-free wannabe board for ideas about how to recover from this....0
