Trying to reduce my TV, Broadband and Phone, at present they are split broadband and phone with bt about £45 and tv with sky £46.
The tv we watch is sky 1, fox, universal, watch and the documentary channels. The phone line we do not use much, 14 calls this month and not so much downloads.
main thing is my wife is a technophobe used to operating sky and does not like change

What phone and broadband tariff are you that costs £45?! Easiest solution is to bundle your phone and broadband onto Sky-it should be around half that, depending on the phone bundle required. This assumes that Sky is available LLU on your exchange.
If you are out of contract with Sky, ring, ask to cancel the TV and cut a retention deal with them.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
BT how long left on the contracts ??
Can you not look at what you are paying for first .
You might be paying £7 a month for free calls etc .0 -
line rental £16.99, unlimited broadband and weekend calls £18, total is £34.99 before vat at 20% and 14 calls during the week total £49 this month.
BT contract has up to 9th Dec to run.0 -

BT contract has up to 9th Dec to run.
If you want to stay as you are you could pay for line rental up front and come December request your MAC code which always results in retentions contacting you with a better deal. E.g. for several years now the broadband costs roughly £6pm from £18. That's a saving of ~£165 a year. Likely to get a few extras chucked in as well.
You would probably get the best savings by moving all your products to one provider though.0 -
MAC no longer applies you just transfer .
Problem with paying ALR now is that come December and BT retentions not offering you a better deal you are limited .
Basically you are still tied to BT for line rental unless you want to lose your advanced payment 6 months remaining paid .0 -
From the sky TV you watch you will probably be better getting a NOW TV you get 13 sky channels, plus over 200 box sets for £6.99 per month. Then just get freeview TV and that covers the majority of your channels for a fraction of the price. Theres loads of great broadband deals if you can give in to SKY.0
