I don't think they would 'wipe' the whole debt. Your GP only thinks you're unfit for work for the time being, and your DLA is only until 2018, so surely they would just excuse you from paying it until such a time that you go back to work?
Your previous years - were they at full time funding? If so, now going part time you shouldn't be affected. I got funding for part time loan despite having full time funding years previously.0 -
