You may have done something wrong, but I'm not sure what. Was there an option to quit the application after you had the "application successful" message and saw your new account number? But you then went on to set up a new online access, even though you already had one?

I did not set up a new online access with BoS. It's been widely reported on here that Halifax and BoS use the same systems and the same userIDs. I found that my existing Halifax logon credentials also worked for BoS. I can see all my Halifax and BoS accounts via either website.

I don't seem able to do this, it says
"9210358 : Sorry but we can’t identify you from your username or password. Please try again."

Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Did you have an account with BoS when you logged on to them?

Sorry, I don't know what you're doing wrong. I already had a Halifax account with online access when I applied for my first BoS account. The BoS account was visible when I logged in to Halifax and my Halifax account was visible when I logged in to BoS using exactly the same userID, password and memorable word.

There was some sort of glitch when my wife applied to BoS. Her Halifax password did not work when logging in via the BoS site and had to be reset. She now has different userIDs and passwords for each bank, but still sees all accounts with both banks when logged in to either.

There are links on the BoS login page for forgotten userID and forgotten password. I suggest mozzy10 should use these. Forgotten userID first, then forgotten password if needed.
