OP don't listen to anyone else on this thread. They don't know what they're talking about. I actually lost my fob and my spare one wasn't working (only manually it worked). I tried local key cutting places but they said they can't help and that I need to go to the main dealer. I went to an Audi specialist and they ordered a new fob from Germany for £157 and charged another £30 for the programming. They also reprogrammed my spare key and it's now working.
I believe as you still have your own key you can buy a used/blank FOB from eBay for around £30 and get that programmed by the main dealer. You can't program it yourself or any local car smiths can't do it either. Only main dealers or specialists.0 -

Wrong. Have you ever used VCDS Darkmatter? I assume not, as it doesn't work on imaginary cars.
Plenty of auto locksmiths can do this. All the OP needs to is stop listening to anything you say (OP search for darkmatter's previous threads to understand why) and ring around a few.0
