    If your daughter was to train as a nurse in the RAF she would be a non commissioned rank. If she were to train in the NHS (paid for by the NHS and given a bursary to live on) then she could join as an nursing officer.

    If she trains in the RAF there is nothing stopping her from applying for her commission at a later date.

    Postings within the RAF are similar to those described in the Army, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Plymouth, Middleborough, ect we do have a few people in Oxford and Brize Norton.
