  • ADD A SQUIGGLE IF POSTING IT!

"NO NEED TO USE A REAL SIGNATURE - BUT DON'T POST UNLESS YOU HAVE TO - USE THE ONLINE APPEAL PAGE FOR FIRMS LIKE UKPC AND EURO CAR PARKS & PARKINGEYE, BECAUSE THE APPEAL CANNOT THEN GET LOST AND YOU CAN KEEP A SCREEN PRINT. USE THE EMAIL APPEAL OPTION IF FIRMS OFFER IT - E.G. HORIZON, OR 'MET' AT MCDONALDS OFFER EMAIL APPEALS."

I've misread obv, sorry 'UKPC' very similar.

Okay I'll get letter typed up using the template given and hope for the best

    Thanks

hope for the best, yes , but assume they will not cancel and will issue a popla code

you then have 28 days maximum to submit it to popla

so assume your appeal will be rejected and start working on a draft of your popla appeal

also assume UKCPM may be sneaky and may say the appeal was never received, which is why you obtain the free certificate of posting

these are all sc@m artists, so we have to tell you to jump over certain hurdles and through a few hoops , to protect yourself, creating a paper trail is one of these protections

so if they say use snail mail, use it, but not recorded as they may refuse it

they sent you a standard mail letter, with standard postage, but it will be noted down as some form of "free certificate of posting at their end, therefore you do the same , like for like , in case you have to complain to the BPA (as many do)

its the ones who just stick a stamp on and put it in the nearest post box who usually fail later down the line, dont be one of them (usually a PPC can tell if the letter has a free certificate of posting as the PO sticks a different type of "stamp" on the envelope (not a normal postage stamp) - more like a sticky label (yep - sneaky)

we didnt invent this chaotic system, but we know the pitfalls and can help you avoid them

The sticky label "stamp" doesn't indicate that the item has had a certificate proof of posting issued for it. It just means the item's postage was paid for at a post office where it was handed in.

(These labels are "Automated Postage Labels" ("APL") which the post office now print when you hand in unstamped items over the counter and pay the postage for them, and are universally used instead of the previous method of the clerk sticking postage stamps on the item)

You can get a free proof of posting when you take any item and hand it in at a post office, either with the stamp(s) already stuck on or buy a stamp and apply it yourself or simply pay for an APL when you post it.
