Apple pay

Tried to set up Apple pay on iPhone 5s and Apple watch,I had a problem,after going through all it instructions,I clicked on "verify",the code was sent to a number I had about four years ago,so I thought I'd get in touch with Apple to see if they could advise me on what to do, Well after over an hour on the phone to them I was told that I couldn't get Apple pay unless I have an iPhone 6 or 6c,now to say I was disappointed is an understatement,so I immediately went on to Apples website to find out that I can get it on my Apple watch,anyway I went to bed determined to sort it out in the morning. I tried the option use different option for code,now if you're reading this you might be saying,"why didn't you do that last night,well I did,but after being on hold for 47 minutes,I gave up,anyway after being on hold again,this time it was only 23 minutes,I got through,the lady answered and said,I quote,"hello you are through to the Apple pay helpline" it was then I thought ,hallelujah there is a god,well she took me through the normal security questions and within 30seconds I was told "you now have Apple pay activated. Does this count as I've done better than Apple? Thought I'd share this with you cos it made a 60 year old mans day.
