I'd just get a copy of my bookmarks from the back up or from Firefox Sync, not done either of those then you'll learn the hard way at one point.0

If I remember right, Firefox Refresh kicks in when you haven't used it for a while or it hasn't been upgraded in while. There should always be the option to tell it to do one.0

The 'reset Firefox' option normally puts a folder on the desktop called 'Old Firefox data', which contains your old bookmarks. Have a look if it's there. If it's not, search your computer for a folder by that name.
I had a look and it doesn't I have however now recovered through 'recents'0 -

Yes, I have a folder old data.
Last week my Firefox would not load, I just got a blank white page and a grey circle going round and round. It said corrupt files when I did the search(had to use IE), I tried a few things which they suggested to fix. Now I did fix it but to honest have no idea what I actually did:o:o:o I was trying a few different things and one of them worked.:rotfl: But I think I might dumped more into the old data file?0 -
But what other option did I have it would not open without it?
The last time I've seen the "refresh Firefox" message it was a bar at the bottom of Firefox like in this picture.

Firefox worked perfectly without clicking anything on it. Did you notice the x next to the button? It's there to close this message. Do this the next time you get this message.0
