Today started with more decluttering intentions, but I already have so many bags waiting to be moved on that I'm a bit overwhelmed with them. So I took a few bags off to the BHF charity shop near me. There's too many to take at once as they're so heavy and I don't even have a suitcase anymore to lug them all together. So a few at a time will go.
I then went to the Gynae clinic and was given a swab kit to perform my own smear! How great is that? No stirrups, no embarrassment, just a long handled cotton bud, a little pot to place it in when done and total privacy! So, the reason I'm given this TMI is that if anyone has put off getting theirs done because of those stirrups and that huge metal barbaric thing (and getting your minky out for a close up!), then it may be worth asking if they also have a DIY smear policy!
I'm now home and have updated YNAB and am currently scanning my living room for more things to throw out! I've sacrificed general housework this weekend with the decluttering, so I'll get onto that now too!
Brilliant Do keep up the decluttering you will feel so great!!! ...I know what you mean two big boxes of "I don't know what's really in there" are in a corner of my room....lol and too big for me to carry to CS .... I might wait until Friday and if not sold by Saturday I will take to the CS to get out the way ??
Made about £10 from Fleabay sales so might steal your idea of Clothes4cash ..might only net £4 but is better than nothing
I'm pretty minimal at the moment ..nothing left to sell that would gain me much money and not being lazy I cant be doing with all the rigmarole if i'm not even going to make a pound.
I have some Faulty goods to return so expecting some cash back from that if I sort out in time.
Had another wardrobe sort and resorting the capsule ...
Undies, PJ's , Bags and Shoes don't really count ..as long as the bags and shoes match the wardrobe capsule I might be able to get the items down some more .. Might even properly split into Spring Summer and Autumn Winter lots.
£10 a day Budget not going to bad so £230 from tomorrow!
So might be up about £100 but that's in the work emergency pot until I get far enough through the month to know if I will need it or not.
Am trying to be more positive and less angry ( lol ) with the debt to help conserve my energy.
Hope things are good with you and have fun decluttering if you can ...is funny how things stir up memories ...or maybe I am just a sap

How's the selling going Sam? I'm not keen on eBay anymore as it really is a time drain for very little gain. My motivation now is to just get things gone, and money if I can. So I use Cash 4 Clothes, Ziffit and Cash Converters. Anything not fitting in those piles either goes to a Boot Sale box or, most likely to a charity shop! I know that I can't recoup the money I mindlessly wasted, so I'm drawing a line under it now and things are finally taking shape.
Well done with the emergency pot too! I've always found having one quite vital.
I've had the most traumatic journey into work today so feeling a little delicate!
Checked my bank details and all ok. I need to log into YNAB tonight and update everything there and double check budgets are on track.
So, my journey this morning was on the tube. Man 1 was standing at the doors and as the doors were about to shut Man 2 jumps on and inadvertently pushes Man 1. Then it kicked off and there was literally no calming Man 1 down. Man 2 held his own and remained calm but I think he got pushed past a point of calm and then he went off shouting too. It really looked like a huge and aggressive fight was going to break out. There were 2 lads trying to calm the situation but Man 1 was so over the line offensive that I think he'd have needed a helicopter to bring him back!
They both got off at my stop, where I catch a connection. Man 1 left the station (still shouting and hollering venom) and Man 2 wandered up the platform. He then jumped back onto the train a few carriages up. So I jumped on with him to check he was ok and give him a chance to release some pressure, if need be. We chatted about what had happened for a couple of minutes, but I could see he wanted to draw a line under the incident so we mainly stood silently. It wasn't my train I was on, so I got off at the next stop, wished him a lovely day and he seemed so appreciative. He called me an angel ! But I've been attacked before, and I know how lonely and abrasive the world feels in those moments after, and I wanted to relieve some of that for him. That whole incident has left me feeling quite shaken this morning!!!! Which is rude as I was only affected by being in ear shot! So I really hope Man 2 has a lovely person at home to talk to and dismiss Man 1's poisonous ways!
On a plus, I weighed myself this morning and my healthier eating is paying off as I'm losing weight. I feel like I've lost a lot of "bloat" too, but clothes I have in the next size down are still too small. So more little steps needed to get to that destination.
I think we definitely need the Wednesday dance today, don't we?
My mission today is to drastically improve my low mood! Little dancing emoticons can't do anything but help!

Oh Sweetie - how kind you are to have checked on the chap even though, by the sound of it, you were a bit in shock yourself. Lots of TLC is the answer *hugs*
Thank you Rosa, I am definitely feeling better now. Even with the fact I'm virtually stranded in London right now!!!
I bought that perfume online. If you want me to send you a link I can do so you can see the reviews on it etc, as it's a bit of a treat! I first had a whiff of it on a woman I know, and had to have it! I'm quite glad I did though, as it feels right for me.

Just wrapping and packing fleabay parcels ...this evening ...so a few more pennies to add to the pot from small sales.
I think MSE is good for me helps keep me on track of the pennies
