They're much cheaper and often on BOGOF.
I get the Asda own for the kids and put them in the kandoo tub (Free!) so that they don't know the difference. 99p a packet I think. It is much easier for them to use those than loo roll. The number of times I have had to pull straggly bits of tissue from their behinds!:pale:Accepted offer on our house - Sept 2006

Hello
I have found this post quite amusing and has put a smile on my face
Anyway, toilet rolls.....
I personally am quite fussy with loo rolls. On my crack down (excuse the pun) to save money I have tried and tested the cheaper brands and found we as a family unit used more than we would of done with the better quality ones. I found the smart price and value range of loo rolls to be smaller rolls and alot thinner than say the standard Andrex etc. This would mean in my household that it would actually be more expensive to use Value loo rolls than say Andrex
I buy all my loo rolls from Makros when they are on offer. I normally get 24 loo rolls for £2.99 plus VAT on this offer and stock up on 3+ packs when it is available. They are luxury loo rolls and the same as Andrex but Makros own brand.
I also have to use loads of wet wipes. My disability means I sometimes have accidents  and probably go through a whole packet every 5-7 days. I try and limit a max of 2-3 wipes each time I need to use them as they can be so dear!!
I normally buy Boots own wet wipes when on BOGOF, so they work out at 85p each packet. I have sensitive skin and dont react to these.
If anyone knows of a cheaper way around this-I would truly apreciate this!!
Well heres to bottoms everywhere

I always wondered what people used or did in the days before toilet paper and of course what other people in the world do today who don't have access to it. You know, I think I'll ask some of the Asian and African men about it tomorrow in work.:D
Toilet paper was actually next on my list to be thought about. I currently use Sainsbury's Revive because it's recycled and is the cheapest in either Tesco or Sainsbury's (excluding the really cheapo stuff) but even so it still isn't really cheap. I'll certainly check out Naturelle in Savers.
Thanks to everyone for giving me a good laugh.0 -
