Which is the best mobile phone Camera?

I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 which had a brilliant camera, got a Motorola G which has an adequate camera.

I am going holiday in November and rather than buy a standalone camera I thought I would try to see what is the best phone camera as I don't use my phone for much else apart from Photos and calls and a bit of web browsing.

interestingly the samsung zoom didnt get the greatest write ups.

anyways all depends on how much you want to spend really, the nokia 1020 is generally seen as one of the best cameras on a phone, but the phone for other use is not good,

otherwise the sony z3 / z3compact comes out well in most camera tests

iphones are always decent, but rarely top in most tests

samsung s5/s6/alpha all have good cameras as well

    same as the HTC m8/m9

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

I also had an S3 and thought for that generation of phone the camera was fantastic on it.

I went to the S5 and the camera was better again. On automatic settings it's miles better than the Z3 company & full size cameras. They're high MP rating but for some reason either the ISO or exposure values are too high on auto setting as pictures come out over exposed compared to the S3 or S5.

I've went to the Note 4 now and that's the best camera on a phone i've came across so far, especially in low light conditions when not using the flash.

Nokia 808 was supposed to be amazing, but not cheap even if you can find one.

the nokia 1020 took over from the 808 as the 'pure view' camera of choice, as it used basically the same camera technology but slighty better operating system, although still way behind android and iOS in usability
