Advice on appeal

Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

While on holiday in Whitby with my parter, we parked outside outside the Bnb. He was given two tickets, one because he accidentally gave the wrong date of arrival on the permit he paid for at the Bnb and another because he circled the dates with s pen instead of scratched them off like a scratch card.

He was sent the penalty charge notices and waited until the next stage when it was brought to the Traffic Penalty Tribunal. He submitted his evidence for both PCNs.

Today he received a letter from the bailiffs saying they would be coming with a warrant in a week.

He spoke to the who said his second appeal must have been binned and to fill in a TE7 form which would allow a late consideration to be made and that the bailiffs will be put on hold.
The evidence he submitted included booking confirmation for the bnb and photos of the tickets. He paid 50p for the permit at the bnb

Sorry for the rambling, my question is do you think he has a case in the appeal? Do you think the bailiffs are gone for good now? If he does have to pay will there be extra charges made if he loses? Although he has a fair income he wouldn't be able to pay any large fines due to the large number of direct debits he's got and what do you think would happen in that situation?

You will be best served in dealing with bailiffs by making contact with 'Bailiff Advice Online'. Sheila, who provides this service, has an extremely good reputation for assisting people with bailiff issues.

It is a 'paid for' service (£10 I think), but very effective.

An acronym often used to describe an establishment that offers limited services reminiscent of a hotel.

A rather quaint British tradition where people spend one or two nights of leisure in such an establishment, where sleeping quarters are provided, along with a morning dining event.

looks like this is a bnb + 2 pcn + bailiff enforcement then

dont see what a BnB has to do with parking on a council road though, maybe its just me but if this OP parked on private land owned or run by a BnB then this wouldnt apply, if its council, I fail to see why the BnB is mentioned , lol

the dispute seems to be with 2 council penalty notices and bailiffs

the OP needs to concentrate on that matter then

I suppose we cannot be expected to know what the parking arrangements are in Whitby (never been)

nothing like that here in rainy manchester though (that I know of)
