Wonder if it is a self ticketing outfit who have used the old stock tickets?

That is my assumption! Having looked into the issue the Notice to Driver left on the vehicle contravenes the IPC code of practice as it doesn't give information about the IPC appeals process on the BPA/POPLA one. Would you advise including this fact in my appeal letter(s)?

I would feign ignorance and appeal using the template, specifically asking for a PoPLA code if they reject.

Anything other than cancellation or PoPLA code should result in a complaint to the DVLA and trading standards I would think. I don't believe the PCN can be re-issued or changed. If the IPC is mentioned in subsequent communications, then complaints to them would be in order as well.

So just an update - I submitted my appeal and received THE RUDEST reply I have ever encountered. I have responded specifically requesting a POPLA code as stated on the notice to driver, which I know they won't give me...and as such I will be reporting them to the IPA, DVLA, BPA Trading standard and anyone else I can think of for breach of COP. Specifically Part C point (j) oof the IPC code of practice relating to the fact that they need to include details of the IAS appeals process on the Notice to Driver.
The only thing they have achieved by being so unbelievable rude (basically calling me an idiot) is to make me really angry and more determined never to give this bunch of scumbags a penny of my money.
  • Hi! I have also just got a threatening letter from Combined Parking Solutions Ltd.. they have sent me doctored photos (one of my friends is an IT specialist and has said the date and time has been amended)- I was at my desk sending emails 40 minutes away from the supposed incident! Please could someone send me the template? I've been advised to contact the police and DVLA which i will do today. How should I reply to the company themselves, please could someone send me a template? I'd really appreciate your help! Thank you x
