Do I need to provide a postal address even if appealing via email? Why?

If you'd like to help without the overblown consternation that would be great, if not that's perfectly OK but it doesn't make your knowledge any more valid or make you superior in doing so.
It terms of more information the company is call vehicle control services LTD and seem to be associated with the IPC.
Thanks again
there are no "simple questions" when dealing with these companies, especially not until you mention the company name , trade body , appeal process and if you have appealed as keeper or driver
its like asking what is the weather going to be like in septemberI am looking to appeal a PCN using the 1st appeal template
this indicates you have not appealed yet0 -
Ok well apologies for not being clearer up front. I was literally submitting my appeal in parallel to writing to this forum as I wasn't sure how quick the response would be on here. (yes I know I shouldn't have done that - but too I guess it's too late now).
So given I have made some mistakes (which I can't fix now), do you suggest that I re-submit my appeal with my postal address immediately or wait another week for day 20?0 -
the problem is that by appealing once so early its clear to VCS that its an appeal from the driver, the day 21 would have meant its effectively too late for the driver to appeal and so they would issue an NTK to the RK , EVEN IF THEY REPLY TO THE EARLIER APPEAL
so yes, resubmit the appeal with pcn number , name , date and postal address for service of the NTK and other paperwork etc, otherwise as bazster correctly said they will dismiss the appeal (which they do anyway)
in any case, as its VCS and the IPC and IAS, they will dismiss any appeal made anyway, that goes without saying, plus your chances of an IAS win are almost nil too, so the advice is then to ignore for 6 years, unless an MCOL arrives in the post
so yes, many mistakes were made , in your posts and in your appeal, learn from them in case you get another one0 -

Yep live and learn! Thanks for your help Redx0 -
the alternative scenario is wait for the NTK to arrive between day 29 and day 56 , then appeal the NTK as keeper, but it will still result in rejection and ignoring for 6 years, unless an MCOL arrives in the post0
